At Streamline Shipping Group we take great pride in championing the local communities in which we work. We’re committed to supporting athletes, organisations, community projects and charities with funding, delivery and more. Discover our recent sponsorships and charity support below.

Sponsorships

We’re excited to sponsor a variety of athletes and clubs in the local communities we operate in, supporting those who align with our core values of excellence and integrity.

Shooting for success on the pitch as we shoot for success on the road, we were thrilled to support our very own Streamline Football Club who finished third in the league last season, as well as Partick Thistle FC as they beat Raith Rovers 2-1 in the summer.

We were also excited to hear the Orkney Hockey team won the 2022 Scottish Hockey Women’s District Cup, who we were proud to sponsor throughout the season.

We were delighted to be a part of two female athletes’ roads to success throughout 2022. Superstar golfer, Rosie Maguire, became Pollok Golf Club Junior Champion for two years running, won bronze at the Scottish Girls U16s and was selected to train in the Scottish girl’s performance squad!

We also contributed to Orkney athlete Taylah Paterson’s journey to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. She competed in the women’s 4x100m relay and made it to the final, with her team becoming the first Scottish team to do so in this event since 1986!

Recently we announced our latest beneficiary, Just Dance Orkney, and are looking forward to seeing where this partnership takes them.

Charity Support

Friends of ANCHOR

Friends of ANCHOR supports cancer and haematology patients from Aberdeenshire, Orkney and Shetland at the ANCHOR unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The charity funds pioneering research, invests in medical equipment, drives forward clinical excellence and enhances person-centred wellbeing – which is where we come in. We’re proud to support this incredible charity by delivering wellness products to cancer patients at the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall, Orkney.

Clan Cancer Support

Clan Cancer Support is a well-established charity, providing emotional and practical support to those affected by cancer across north-east Scotland, including Orkney and Shetland. They offer telephone support, accommodation for those undergoing cancer treatment at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, and counselling, to name a few. Our team is honoured to assist this vital charity, carrying out all of their shipments between Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland.

Other Charity Support

In addition to this, we’re proud to work with the British Red Cross and The Salvation Army.
