We have an immediate opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to join the Operations team at our Humberside office. The purpose of the role will be to provide administration support to the Operations team. The successful candidate will be a point of contact for customers on the telephone and through e-mail.
As part of the role you will be required to gather accurate information to assist customers, suppliers and drivers to resolve any straightforward enquiries. The post will be office based and your daily workload will be scheduled to meet the needs of the business on any particular day, with the majority of the workload covering accurate data input.
The successful candidate should have experience in shipping, transport or logistics. Previous administration experience is essential. The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, have a good working knowledge of basic IT systems and a good team-based work ethic.
