We have an immediate opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Accounts team at our Aberdeen headquarters. The purpose of this role will be to support the Finance Director in general accounting duties. The role will involve maintaining the company fixed asset register, insurance claims administration, bank reconciliations, implementing and managing a system for cost control, preparation of monthly sale/purchase accruals, VAT/statistical returns and other general accounting duties.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles is essential for this role. Experience of payroll would be an advantage. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years experience in a financial environment or would suit an accounts graduate. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is essential for this role. Good communication skills and a good team-based work ethic.
